Model Number: 221143-SOHCSPRINGS

We have a limited number of these available for sale, and for the first time in a while, we are offering these sold separately. If you have been wanting a set of Crane Sohc valve springs, this is your opportunity!

Installing a new Crane SOHC camshaft into your 1995-2005 Dodge/Plymouth Neon with 2.0 SOHC engine? If so, the stock valve springs should be replaced at the same time. Otherwise, if the stock valve spring breaks, your valves will drop and damage the pistons!

The Crane SOHC valve springs utilize a higher tensile strength steel with a higher spring pressure to tolerate the increased lobes from aftermarket camshafts. This prevents valve float at extremely high RPMs!

Will these springs work well with comp cam 107-400-8

These will work with all camshafts for the Sohc. We have never seen any other valve spring made by any manufacturer for higher lift cams, there is only one part number, and this is it.

Will Dodge Neon OEM valve spring retainers fit these springs?

Yes, your oem retainers will work fine with these. Its nice to have titanium retainers for stronger strength and lighter weight, but its not required.

Do you need a stand alone computer or piggy back to run the crane 14 (2004 dodge neon sxt 2.0 sohc) I have headers and intake

No, you can use this with a stock computer if you wish. If you do have access to a aftermarket performance engine controller (pcm) then you'll gain even more power. The Crane #14 builds power at high rpms so the more rpms you can have access to, the better your car will run. The problem you'll encounter is that the 03-05 Neon has almost zero performance computer options.
