180 Degree HIGH FLOW Thermostat, 95-05 Neon / 03-05 Neon SRT-4 / PT Cruiser

This is a special, custom made 180 thermostat. For those of you that want the most flow possible through the thermostat, this thermostat is custom machined to fit the Neon and Neon SRT-4 housing.

If you look at the photos, you'll see that the thermostat valve is larger in this high flow thermostat versus our standard 180 thermostat.

The normal 180 thermostats are a nice upgrade over stock, and should work fine for most Neons and Neon SRT-4's but if you live in a very hot climate, or have a very hot motor, then this will help a lot! The high flow 180 thermostat valve will flow a larger volume of water to the radiator, thereby cooling the engine more efficiently.

Drops in like a normal thermostat. Gasket is included.

This thermostat fits the following vehicles:


  • 03-05 Neon SRT-4
  • 1995-2005 Neons
  • ALL PT Cruisers

    • 95-05 2.0 Liter Neons and PT Cruisers - you must trim back the ribbing a little on the inside of the thermostat housing to use this thermostat. See our attached photo.

      This is not listed for the PT but since they share the lower housing and typically share thermostat design and gasket, I am assuming these will work on the Cruiser GT as well?

        Yes, this item was originally offered for the 2003-2005 Dodge SRT-4, however it will also work for the 95-05 Neon and the PT Cruiser if the ribbing on the inside of thermostat housing is trimmed. See our photo of the thermostat housings on this product page.
