Model Number: 220221

This kit completely replaces the stock intercooler to throttle body stock rubber hose with aluminum 2.5 inch mandrel bent tubing. Comes with your choice of 1) No Blow off Valve flange, 2) Hks flange, 3) TurboXs flange, or 4) Greddy flange. Includes 4 ply silicone hose connectors, all hose necessary hose clamps, and one HUGE improvement over stock piping: a new temperature sensor that threads into the UHP. Please note, this is a blow off valve pipe, with your choice of flange, but it does not include a blow off valve, please see our other listing that includes the blow off valve and this same pipe if you want a complete kit.

The UHP comes with the threaded temp sensor. There is no need to purchase an additional sensor. This verson 2 sensor kit uses an OEM sensor so you will no longer need to hardwire in the temp sensor. This temp sensor is threaded, and will not blow out like the OEM push/grommet sensor.

TIP Sensor information. The TIP Sensor uses that red vacuum line that you pulled out of the stock plastic pipe. We designed this pipe with an 1/8" NPT threaded bung for use of the factory red line. The pipe will have an 1/8" NPT plug installed so if you want to utilize the "red line", you will need to pull out the plug and install an 1/8"NPT pipe fitting.

Lastly, if you dont already have one, you'll need to install a blow of valve block off plate. We offer this piece with or without a block off plate.

Note: This Upper Hard Pipe will NOT work with the OEM Air Box or the AEM Short Ram Intake.

NOTE: Its very important you choose the flange you need in the pull down menu. The no flange option is for those of you not installing a blow off valve and just want a replacement aluminum pipe with threaded temp sensor. Greddy flange is for those of you installing a Greddy blow off valve. TurboXS is for those of you installing a TurboXS blow off valve and HKS flange is for those of you installing a HKS blow off valve. You must choose the right flange option or else this piping will not work for you.

  • Mike Tobiason
Is it possible to run this pipe and use the stock blow-off/recirculating valve?
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

The primary purpose of this kit is to install a aftermarket blow off valve. There is however NO point in running the factory bov and an aftermarket bov though. So if for whatever reason you want to use the factory bov, then you should choose the AGP upper hard pipe without flange.
  • geoff
will this pipe fit a turbo smart blow off valve?
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

Mono, AGP does not currently make any flanges for Turbo Smart as they are not very common in the USA. Look at what flanges are available in the pull down menu to see the current range of blow off valve flanges.
  • Joe
I am running another hard pipe with a push in IAT. Its horrible... But I do love my Turbonetics BOV. It has the two bolt flange... which pipe do I need?
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

If you want to keep your Turbonetics bov, then you'd need to get a AGP pressure pipe with the two bolt Greddy style flange. Your Turbonetics blow off valve will bolt right to the Greddy flange.

Will this pipe with a turboxs bov work with the stock air intake?
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

No, this will definitely NOT work with the stock air intake.
  • Aaron
Sooo what size are the couplers cause they look bigger than 2.5in
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

The couplers are 2.5 inch inner diameter.

Why wont this piping work with the AEM short ram intake?
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

Because the blow off valve on the AGP uppipe will be right where the filter is.
  • Anonymous
What do you do with the stock vacuum line that attaches near the stock temp sensor in the stock pipe? It does not look like there is a place for the vac line in the AGP pipe.
    1 Answer
    • Modern Performance

There is a threaded boss designed for methanol injection, and you can buy a brass barb to fit inside the threaded boss and connect your tip sensor line to that barb.

Will this uppipe work with a K&N Cold air intake? Also, will this work with the GReady FV BOV?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

K&N Air intake, Injen air intake, Mopar air intake, Weapon R air intake, AGP cold air intake, IPP air intake, AEM air intake, Ebay intakes, etc. EVERY SINGLE intake we have ever seen, EXCEPT THE AEM SHORT RAM intake (and the knockoff intakes that put the filter in the same place) will work with this uppipe.

Will the flange fit hks ssqv bov?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

As long as you select the pipe with the HKS flange, yes it will fit the HKS SSQV blow off valve perfectly.
  • T Yang
Does that threaded a sensor replace the stock IAT sensor?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

Yes, one of the advantages of this kit, is that it replaces the factory sensor that is prone to blowing out and or leaking.
  • Tyler
I have a hahn S20g turbo on my car and now my hardpipe won't work because of the offset due to the turbo being larger. would you think that i would be able to make this piece work? its about a 3 inch difference.
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

The upper hard pipe goes between the intercooler and the throttle body. It has nothing to do with what turbo you have. You may be referring to the charge piping between the turbo outlet and the intercooler, we do not offer that piece.
  • Greg
Will this work with a AFE Magnum Force Air Intake? Or will the BOV placement be a problem?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

You can use the AGP upper hard pipe with blow off valve with the AFE air intake, however you'd need to trim some of the horizontal shield below the filter. Its plastic, so its not difficult to do.
  • George
I just got my UHP and I realized the sensor looks nothing like the sensor in the picture at all. It is all plastic and you can't see the blue tip. It might be an upgraded one, I don't know though? There is also no wires, it just clips with the factory wires. Did you guys change this item or was there something wrong on your end? The sensor still has a thread that fits in the pipe but looks completely different than the sensor in the picture. Please help. Thanks!
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

The AGP sensor is a threaded sensor that is hardwired in. What happened is you bought the OEM temp sensor which is NOT threaded, and has a quick fit connector when you had the AGP uppipe. You bought the wrong one.

Will this kit fit when I install the JM Fabrication intake manifold and 70 mm Boomba throttle body.
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

Probably not as we think that manifold moves the location of the throttle body. Please ask the manufacturer of the intake manifold if the throttle body is moved from the stock location. If not, then your good. If it is moved, this probably won't work.
  • Victor
Do you have an option for the Tial Bov?
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

The industry standard, is the HKS and Greddy blow off valves. Therefore, those are the two most popular blow off valve flanges. We have never seen a Neon SRT-4 upper hard pipe with a Tial flange because of this.
  • Carlos
Does this UHP would fit with your upgraded throttle body? Reason I ask because I know that throttle body and I had fitting issue with the OEM UHP.
    1 Answer
    • customer service rep

The factory rubber pressure pipe between the intercooler and intake manifold is very rigid and doesn't flex well. So, its difficult to get the oem pipe onto the MPx throttle body. BUT, this AGP uppipe has a silicone 4 ply coupler that is much more flexible, making it easier to install with the throttle body!
  • Justin Smith
If I ordered the upper hard pipe with no flange blc I wasn't sure what BOV was in my car when I bought it, will I have to replace the entire pipe if I want an aftermarket blow off valve or can it still be installed anyways?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

If you have the AGP hard pipe with no flange, the only way you'll be able to mount a blow off valve later is if you cut a hole in the pipe and weld on a flange to mount that specific blow off valve. You'd need an aluminum flange with the flange to mount your desired blow off valve (Greddy, Hks, etc).
  • Jason
Will this fit 2003 pt cruiser gt..and is their a lower hard pipe to go with it..
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

This will not fit a GT Cruiser. We do make a PT Cruiser GT specific pipe with blow off valve, please look in the PT Cruiser section of our site.
  • Mike Rocha
will this also fit the Greddy type s bov?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Yes, this upper hard pipe works with HKS, Greddy, TurboXS blow off valves, and there is a no blow off valve option for those of you that do not want to use an external bov, and wish to use either the factory diverter, or OEM replacement style diverter.
  • Joe
does this pipe working for the Tial Q 50mm BOV? if so which flange would work with this?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

We do not offer a Tial flange uppipe. The industry standard, and what 99.5% of all turbo vehicle owners use, is HKS and Greddy. You could check with AGP, they may offer a Tial flange.
  • Colby
Will this work with a tial BOV?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

AGP makes this uppipe with a Tial flange, however we do not carry it. This is because 99% of all turbo owners run either HKS or Greddy blow off valves. HKS And Greddy are the gold standard of blow off valves, and we prefer to keep it simple. If you really need the Tial, you can order it by phone with us and we will have it sent to you from AGP directly.
  • Oscar
This hard pipe is for the HKS bov?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Select your choice of blow off valve flange in the pull down menu.
  • sal A
can you make this with a tial flange as shown in picture?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

The upper hard pipe pictured shows a HKS flange. We do not offer a Tial flange option for this part. The industry standard for blow off valves are HKS, Greddy and TurboXS.
  • Fernando
Does the greddy flange option fit the old greddy type s bov?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

The Greddy flange has been the same as far back as I can remember, so regardless if you have a Greddy blow off valve from the year 2004, 2014, or 2024, they are all the same spacing and bolt pattern.
