Crower Valve Spring & Retainer Kit 1995-2010 Neon/SRT-4/PT 2.0/2.4

Model Number: 221269

This listing is for Crower DOHC valve springs. Do not ever use DOHC valve springs in a SOHC as the DOHC springs have less seat pressure than the SOHC.

If your installing new camshafts with aggressive cam lobes, you'll need to replace your factory valve springs with stronger ones to prevent catastrophic failure and damage. This is because the factory springs aren't meant to compress as fast, or as much as they will be compressed with aftermarket camshafts with larger lobes.

By using these Crower valve springs, along with the Titanium lightweight retainers, your motor will perform well, without failure, and you'll be removing weight in the valvetrain to prevent valve float.

Price is for a set of 16 valve springs, and retainers.

These are designed for use with single groove valves.

Works in all 1995-2005 Chrysler 2.0 and 2.4's as well as 2001-2010 Chrysler PT Cruisers.
