Please note: This item is shipped from Seibon and normal delivery takes about 3 weeks from order date. The shipping cost is $300 for anywhere in the continental USA. At this time we cannot ship this hood to addresses in California, or outside of the continental USA.

VERY IMPORTANT: When you place an order for a hood and its being delivered, its very critical that you, or whomever is receiving the hood make a note of any damage to the box, and inspect the hood and note any damage on the bill of lading. If you sign for the hood and its later found to be damaged, all freight claims will be denied by the freight company. Protect yourself by thoroughly inspecting the hood before signing the freight companies receipt.

Our website is not very good at calculating freight costs for big items like this, so if you have a hood and trunk, or hood plus other Fedex shippable items, you may get an error rate, or some outrageous amount. We recommend ordering freight items like this by themselves and then place a separate order for Fedex/USPS shipped items. If you have several freight items, like a hood and trunk you want to buy, we recommend ordering the hood by itself, and then contacting us by phone and adding the trunk, as we can get you a much better rate. Typically we can ship a hood and trunk combo for about $550 but our website may charge a lot more.

    Does this require any modification to mount such as hood pins or the push rods that are also available from modern performance? Or will it be a direct fit?

      This is meant to use the factory hinges and latches, just like all other hoods we carry. A lot of manufacturers will tell you for liability reasons that you should use hood pins, but that's at your discretion.

    Hi, are the "gill style" hood vents functional? Do they release under-hood heat? Also, are there pre-cut holes in this hood for the windshield washer outlets? Thanks :)

      Yes, all Seibon vents are opened, and not fake. The GT has windshield squirter holes cut into it.

      We have not sold many of these so we have not heard back from many customers, but that is a concern, yes. Its best to keep your car in a garage if its going to rain with this hood. We will say though, this style of hood will really help ventilate the engine well!

    Does the factory hood vent fit this hood?

      Definitely not. The center hole is filled with mesh and glued in place. Also it appears to be wider, and less curved than the OEM vent.
