NOTICE: This part listing is for 96-05 Neon, 95-99 Eclipse Non Turbo, 00-10 PT Cruiser, and 03-07 GT Cruiser.

Coil packs can occasionally go bad on Neons, and you will sometimes notice a misfire, or at worst your car will run on two cylinders. We recommend you replace your coil pack if your car has upwards of 80-100k, and while your at it, we recommend replacing the spark plug wires

(This paragraph only applies to 1995-1996 Dodge/Plymouth Neons!) 1995-1996.4 Dodge/Plymouth Neons use rounded plugs, 96.5-2005 use flat plugs. If you have a 96 Neon, or if your not sure what year your wiring harness is from, then you need to check the wiring before ordering. Simply unplug the coil pack plug and look at your coil pack to determine if you have a early 1996-1996.5 Neon round pin style or the 1997-2005 Neon flat pin style coil pack.

Is this better than the Granantelli?? Would u recommend this over the Granantelli??

  Both the MSD & Granatelli Coil Packs are good quality pieces. We experienced some quality issues with the MSD coil packs way back in 2014, but have had good luck with both manufacturers since that time. You really can't go wrong either way, so it simply comes down to a matter of preference on the color.

  Yes, this coil pack works on all 96.5 - 2005 Neon and Neon SRT4's.

Do i need to upgrade plug wires when going to this coil pack?

  No, you can interchange stock wires, aftermarket wires with this coil pack and no changes are required. However, its a good time to consider changing your spark plugs, and or wires if its needed.

  Yes, this coil pack and every other coil pack we offer, you unbolt it, unplug the factory wiring, replace the coil pack and you are done. Couldn't be any easier installation wise.
