Model Number: 601617-SENSORLSU

AEM has used two different oxygen sensors with their AEM Air Fuel ratio gauge kits. Please look at our photos showing the difference in the connectors and compare to your existing oxygen sensor connector before purchasing.

AEM's Bosch LSU 4.9 Wideband UEGO O2 replacement sensor kit includes only the sensor (with attached cable and male connector) and is intended to replace an existing mounted wideband sensor used with AEM Digital Wideband UEGO Air/Fuel Controller.

These sensors have a laser-etched, calibrated resistor in the sensor's connector body. This resistor is specifically created for the exact sensor that it is attached to. Modifying this will invalidate the sensor's output. The wideband sensor is laboratory-calibrated at the Bosch factory, accurate to 0.1 AFR and never requires free-air calibration when used with an AEM wideband AFR controller.

  • Accurate to 0.1 AFR
  • Never requires free-air calibration when used with an AEM Controller and connector plug.
  • Specifically designed for use with AEM Wideband UEGO controller
  • Replacement sensor only

The AEM Uego 4.2 sensor was used from early 2000's to about 2015. This 4.9 sensor is used with gauge part number 30-4110 from 2015+.

Is this an exact replacement for aem and what is the warranty on this product? My original sensor went out and at 1st I got an off brand sensor and it only lasted 2 days. Then I purchased a Bosch replacement from amazon and it only lasted 4 days. I've checked my ckts and did not find any issues in my harness. I don't want to purchase another sensor that isn't even going to last a week. I just want to make sure this is the right sensor that I need.

AEM has a 12 month warranty on their products.
In the second paragraph of this product description it clearly states that the oxygen sensor has a built in resistor, that if its not present, or modified, will make the gauge not work. Chances are good that your aftermarket sensors do not have this AEM UEGO specific resistor. Its time to stop fooling around and wasting your time and money with other sensors, and get this original equipment that the AEM Uego came with from the factory.
