Aeroforce Interceptor Gauge, 03-05 Neon / 03-05 PT Cruiser

The Scangauge, is a very special type of instrument gauge that connects within seconds to your cars OBD2 port, located right below your dashboard.

The OBD2 port is a diagnostic port that is used for dealerships, service stations, and even emissions testing facilities to connect a computer to your car to see how your cars running, problems with your car, etc. Because the OBD2 port communicates lots of different parameters of your engine, you can view tons of information! Furthermore, it will not interfere with the OBD2 ports operation, because it simply plugs in, and is not hardwired, and no wires are cut, chopped or soldered for the gauge to work!

This gauge lights up red.

The Interceptor gauge is 52mm (2 1/16") in diameter and will fit in all standard gauge pods of this size. A 5' cable is included with appropriate OBD2 connector.

Please note: Aeroforce is no longer shipping these guages with the metal U shaped bracket for mounting. They claim that they found almost all customers are using pods that dont require the metal U shaped bracket, and so they are no longer shipping these gauges with that bracket and nuts. If you are mounting this gauge into a pod, we would recommend using electrical tape around the body of the gauge for additional friction to hold it more tightly into the pod upon insertion.

    Does it read air to fuel ratio and can you do any kind of tuning or changes with this, thanks

      The Aeroforce gauge can be setup to monitor air fuel ratios but you have to buy a seperate o2 sensor, wiring kit to hook up to it. We recommend instead to just use the Aeroforce to monitor other important parameters (knock, timing, intake temps, etc) and use a AEM Uego air/fuel mixture ratio gauge to monitor the air fuel ratios instead.

      You can get the black faceplate, and the clear face with red SRT logo to get the effect you want.

    Can it do oil pressure as well?

      The only way to get a reading of oil pressure on the 03-05 Neon SRT-4 is to run a gauge with sensor to the engine. This is because the Neon SRT-4 uses a oil pressure switch that only triggers a check engine light if oil pressure falls below a certain threshold.

    This is listed for the 03-05 neons, but is an OBD2 gauge. will it also work with the 00-02 cars? 95-99 cars? Interested in this for my 98 R/T.

      No, these gauges are not interchangeable between cars, what they work on car wise, is listed in the title. Furthermore, we're not sure of the exact reason, but Aeroforce says their gauges do not work on cars made before 2003 Chryslers. In their extensive website application listings, there are very cars listed that are pre 2002. Most pre 2002 cars that are listed are European that were using the CAN bus system earlier.
