If you have a clutch with a stronger pressure plate that requires more effort to depress, you should strongly consider this clutch fork. (ACT clutch, Clutchmasters clutches, etc).

Why? Well, the factory clutch fork wears down over time because of the steel throw out bearing wears down the cast iron stock clutch fork. Over time it wears down further and next thing you know your clutch wont disengage.

Normally you could replace the stock throw out bearing and be set, but if you are disengaging your clutch a lot, or have a stronger pressure plate clutch, its only a matter of time before it wears down again.

AGP has fixed this dilemma by coming out with this clutch fork which is far stronger (density wise) and can resist wear better than the oem cluch fork.

So, if you plan on doing any transmission work, or clutch jobs anytime soon be sure to replace your fork with this!

NOTE: These now include the boot and clip whereas they did not in the past!

I'm not pushing any HP I have basic bolt ons on a stock turbo with a stock transmission. I got the notorious 3rd gear pop out. Can I replace my fork with the forged one? Or is the forged one ONLY for high horsepower cars

This forged clutch pivot fork can be used with both stock and high horsepower set ups. While it may be even more important with a stiffer performance clutch, this fork can also be paired with an OEM clutch to prevent wear on the pivot points that often leads to the clutch engagement point dropping lower and lower toward the floor over time.

Hi I love your products and use them on my srt 4, i bought my car from someone who had upgraded the clutch to act, but I'm starting to feel my first gear not wanting to go in as smoothly aswell as reverse and occasional problems with other gears, is it possible to upgrade the pivot fork without replacing the clutch as it is still fairly new. Thanks

Yes, the clutch fork can be replaced independently of the clutch. However, in most cases if you are replacing the clutch you should consider replacing the fork at the same time. So if your fork was not replaced last time the clutch was changed out, its not a bad idea to consider replacing it now.

Can you use the oem throw out bearing with agp pivot fork?

Any throw out bearing that will work with the factory fork, will work with the AGP fork. This means, all Clutchmasters, South Bend, ACT, Stock, etc throw out bearings will all work with the AGP fork.
