We stock a Billet Oil Pump Gear for the 03-05 Neon SRT-4 and 01-10 PT Cruiser. These are stronger than the factory oil pump gears. Why do you need stronger oil pump gears you ask? Well, in applications of 450-500+ HP, there have been failures of the stock oil pump gears.

These gears are made from heat treated chromoly billets and are guaranteed for life by the manufacturer.

These are blueprinted and include the documentation of blueprinting.

They generate more oil flow, more pressure, and do it earlier in the RPM band.

Do you recommend putting these in a used oil pump or do you recommend a new pump?

  Used pump, new pump, you can install these in whatever pump you want.

If the old oil pump gears are damaged would you recommend getting a new oil pump or can I just install one of these and call it a day

  You would need to carefully inspect the oil pump housing. If there is no damage done to the oil pump housing, then you are fine, you can use these new gears. If there is any damage, then you should replace the pump.
