Clevite H-Series Rod bearings were developed primarily for NASCAR racing, but are well suited to other types of competition engines as well. They're especially good for engines that run at medium-to-high revs. They have steel backings with carefully selected overlays and a high crush factor, plus a medium level of eccentricity. H-Series bearings have enlarged chamfers at the sides for greater crank-fillet clearance and are made without flash plating for better seating.

Oversized H-Series Rod Bearings are no longer available as of early 2019.

This listing is for a complete set of rod bearings. Fits the 2003-2005 Dodge SRT-4, Late 90's Caravan/Stratus/Breeze 2.4's and all 2001-2010 Chrysler PT Cruisers.

I'm getting larger pistons and using the stock rods. Am I good using the standard size and are they just install and go?

  If you check the clearances of your rods and crankshaft and they are good, and the crankshaft is not machined then you can get standard size no problem. If you machine the crankshaft journals on the rod side, then you'll need oversize rod bearings.
