This head program has been discontinued. The reason for this, is that we ran 10-15 heads at a time in large batches. Its become very difficult to find good condition heads with no damage now, and that, coupled with all of the delays we had during covid with valves, cams, valve guides, etc, we just decided to discontinue this part. Do not worry though, there are plenty of other options and companies willing to help. If you have a good, clean condition cylinder head, we recommend sending your cylinder head to CNCport.com. Introducing Modern Performance's CNC ported cylinder head program for the 03-05 Neon SRT-4 & 01-10 PT Cruiser.

We've made it super easy for you to get a CNC ported cylinder head, with Serdi competition valve job, oversize REV valves, BC valve springs and titanium retainers for your Neon SRT-4.

These heads are all checked to make sure they are all within clearance, decked .002 to make sure they are true and seal well. Then the heads are fully cleaned, and all threads checked. Next the heads are CNC fully robotic ported on a 5 angle CNC port on the intake, exhaust ports and chamber.

Instead of doing a 3 or 5 angle valve job, a SERDI valve job is performed, which gives us a much more uniform valve seat finish and better flow than a 3/5 angle valve job.In order to get more flow into and out of the valves, REV 1mm oversize intake valves are installed, and 2mm exhaust valves are installed.

New Manganese bronze guides, and OEM valve seals are also installed in addition to BC valve springs and retainers and new OEM locks.

Some quick notes:

  • These are sold in a core exchange program. At checkout you will be billed $200 core fee that will be refunded once you return your good condition, not warped, complete with with cam caps.You should return the cylinder head to us within 45 days.
  • Do you have a factory turbo, and limited modifications? Then this probably isn't for you. This CNC ported cylinder head is designed for extreme flow, perfect for high horsepower builds.

Please note: the MP logo in the pictures on the intake side, is no longer engraved on these cylinder heads.

      Thats more of a factor of the turbo your going to use, not this head. We dont see any problem in you being able to make more than 800 horsepower with this though, probably even more!

      Im sorry we only offer these complete, due to the fact that when doing a valve job you have to do work on the valves at the same time as the head. If you already have valve springs and retainers you should sell them or call us to discuss returning them.

    Are the valve springs, that come with the head, ideal for the Crower S3 cams, or would they need to be changed to run them?

      This head is assembled with BC springs, and you can run Crower cams, Crane cams, etc. There are not multiple levels of valve springs, its either stock, or upgraded springs like these.

    How much horsepower will I gain if I add this to my SRT-4 with a stock turbo?

      This is way overkill for a factory turbo SRT-4. If you have a factory turbo you should be looking at getting a bigger turbo instead of a CNC ported cylinder head. At 275-325 horsepower, the turbo is the restriction not the cylinder head.

    I have a Bws3 with 47lb wheel and all Bolton's. Is this head over kill for that? If not what kind of gains should I see? Im about 380whp now.

      The more horsepower your SRT-4 makes, the more this product will help. 350-400 wheel horsepower it will be beneficial, 400-500 its great, 500-600+ wheel horsepower this is fantastic.

    Is this head completely ready to bolt on minus cams? Also my tuner said I needed a good port job to run stage 3 crower cams would this head support those?

      This head is complete except for gaskets, and valvetrain (ie, lifters and rockers). Yes, this will work great with any choice of cams.
