This is a replacement bushing for the OEM shift linkage tension strut.

We now carry the Deyeme Manual Transmission Shift Linkage Tension Strut Bushing for the 2013-16 Dart, 2014-2018 Renegade

Over time, the rubber bushing in the gear shift control rod on top of the Dart's transmission will begin to disintegrate. Without this piece working properly, it can be difficult or even impossible to shift gears! Rather than throwing money at the same part, only to have it fail again, replace the worn or missing bushing with the Deyeme Shift Control Rod Polyurethane Bushing. It's simple to install, less expensive than the entire tension strut, firms up shifting, and lasts a lot longer!

    Is this bushing still a rubber bushing like the OEM or Factory one that fails? If it is do you know of anyone or anywhere that sells an upgraded bushing for a 2013 dodge dart. like a solid or polyurethane bushing?

      This bushing is a urethane bushing that is more firm, and will last longer than the factory rubber bushing.

      Correct, this is a replacement bushing for the Shift Linkage Tension strut. Instead of buying a whole new arm, you can replace the worn out bushing with this.
