inTune i3 Features:

Back in the olden days if you wanted to increase the boost pressures on your turbocharged car you would need a boost controller. The boost controller would allow you to take control of the boost pressure, but whatever you set the boost pressure to, it would cause you to have the same boost pressure in every gear. This is not optimal for a front wheel drive car. You need to step the boost to have traction and acceleration! If you have 15 psi in first gear you'll only have wheel spinning while the other car you are racing is taking off! This Diablosport tuner tunes your Caliber SRT-4 so that you have stepped boost like the factory design, but ups the boost on average 3-5 psi in every gear.

      Can this be used with an existing ms1 tune?

        This tuner, when you install the tune, will save whatever tune you have on your car currently in the Diablosport and then write its performance flash into the pcm. So if you have the Mopar stage 1 tune it will save that file and load the Diablosport tune onto your car and if you wanted later to put the stage 1 tune back on your car you could.

      Can it set launch control and can I use it with my stage 1 mopar tune already installed

        No, there is no launch control with this tuner. You can use a N2MB wot box for that though. If you use this tuner, it will save the file off your pcm, and then flash your pcm with the new coding. So, it doesn't matter what pcm code you have, once you use this, it overwrites what used to be on the computer, and saves the file in case you ever want to go back to the Mopar stage 1 tune.

        Yes, the I3 can store multiple tunes, in addition to allowing you to buy licenses for several vehicles so you can tune multiple cars with one I3.

      Does this tune make more boost psi then the stage 1 tune? How much hp does it add over stock?

        Stock boost level is 5 psi in first gear, 10 in second, 10 psi in third.
        With the Diablosport, you'll get 12 psi in first, 16 in second, and 16 in third.
        The Mopar stage 1 upgrade, discontinued around 2011, had a peak output of about 14-15 psi.

      Can I tune injectors with Diablosport?

        There are two things you can do with the Diablosport - you can install the tune thats on it for use with your factory turbo, or you can do a custom tune to accommodate any special injectors, or larger turbo. The custom tunes need to be done with a Diablosport custom tuner person, and generally cost $250-$400. You cannot change injectors without a custom tune or else the car will run terrible.

        This Diablosport is designed to work with the stock wastegate actuator. However, it will also work great with the AGP adjustable wastegate actuator. You'll build boost even faster with a stronger AGP wastegate with the Diablosport tune.

      Do you have to leave it plugged in or can you flash it and unplug it

        You plug the Intune into your OBD2 port under the dash on drive side. Then, follow the steps on the Intune to program the new performance tune onto the ECU. The process takes about 10 minutes. We recommend hooking up a battery charger to your battery during the process because if the battery goes below a certain voltage it can corrupt the tune. Then after the tune is installed, remove the handheld tuner and put the Intune in the glove box. You do not need to leave it plugged in afterwards.

      Do I need different spark plugs for the easy tune to work properly? I have the new NGK Rutheniums installed currently.

        Once you increase the boost by a large amount (ie, 5 psi or more) you should use a colder range plug. We highly recommend the NGK iridium plugs, and have not had any experience with the Ruthenium plug.

      What kind of power and mods can this tuner support? Can it support 600+ whp? Or more just bolt on tunes?

        You either do the canned tune which is good for up to 310-330hp, or you do a custom tune and the sky is the limit.
