King AM-Series Main Bearings, 03-05 Neon SRT-4 / 01-10 PT Cruiser

Model Number: 220267

King Engine Bearing was founded in 1960 to supply the highest quality engine bearings for engine builders. King manufactures all of their bearings in house, with rigorous quality checks and procedures so you get a consistent, high performance bearing.

Kings Rod Bearings for the Chrysler 2.4 use a triple layer material mix. They use a steel backing, aluminum bonding layer, and the friction surface is a aluminum bearing alloy.

These bearings utilize Bull's Eye Tolerance technology developed by King. It combines highly accurate machining, overplating, and computerized wall thickness monitoring that adjusts the process on-the-spot. This state of the art production technology sets new standards in our aftermarket bearing thickness consistency. Bull's Eye Tolerance's outperforms the industry's wall thickness tolerance, ensuring the least thickness variation shell-to-shell. The outcome: A new standard in bearing thickness consistency.

All of the bearings we offer will work with the factory crankshaft. We only list standard size, but we can get oversize bearings if you have machine work done to your crankshaft and need larger bearings. Contact us to discuss your oversize needs.

I'm just wondering why this product only costs 30 dollars? Is this product capable of supporting 400 hp? Thank you

Bearings are essentially precision ground pieces of metal. If they weren't precision ground they would likely cost about 1/3 of this cost. We can assure you though, King is a great manufacturer of bearings, and they are a huge OEM supplier as well, so you can trust the bearings!
