K&N has developed a air intake system that provides low restriction of incoming air, and larger volumes of air for the 08+ Caliber SRT4. K&N in testing, showed a gain of 10.85 horsepower and 10.29 lbs of torque improvement at the wheels on the dyno.

How did they do this ? Well, they created a smooth air intake tube that connects to the factory air box that eliminates the factory bellows tube type design. Its also designed with a huge K&N air filter, along with a air box design that shields the hot air from the turbo, and pulls in colder air from outside the engine bay with the factory air snorkel.

Even though the intake looks as if it's open to the engine bay, the top of the air box seals to the hood to prevent the hot air from the engine bay being pulled in.

Installation is fairly straight forward, and K&N provides a photo installation set to guide you through installation.

This is the only intake left for the Caliber SRT-4! AEM and Mopar have discontinued their intake systems for this vehicle. Get this item while it's still available, and on sale!

Is this K&N intake considered a cold air intake. I live in denver co would this one be good for my caliber? Is a cold air intake better I plan on getting my Wastegate soon as well would this K&N be good for that better wastegate as well? Thanks.

  Yes, this intake uses the oem scoop to pull in fresh air from outside the engine bay so its considered a cold air intake.

Will this come with a C.A.R.B. Sticker so it can pass CA Emissions? E. O. Number?

  For those of you living in California, yes, this item is legal for use in California with CARB testing. K&N includes a sticker in each box. CARB EO Number D-269-37

  This intake, and all other intakes made for the Caliber SRT-4 are bolt on and drive! No tuning required.

  This intake uses a 3 inch outer diameter tubing to mate up to the factory turbo which has a 2.5 inch inlet.
