Front Strut Mounts (Pair), 00-05 Neon / 01-10 PT Cruiser

Model Number: 221316-FRONT-KIT

This is a pair of front strut mounts. Mopar has discontinued the front strut mounts, so we are using aftermarket mounts for this kit.

Are you replacing the struts on your 00-05 Neon, 03-05 Neon SRT-4 or 2001-2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser? Are you getting creaking noises out of your worn out upper strut mounts? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you should consider replacing the strut mounts on your vehicle.

Additional Options

(Discontinued) Mopar OEM Front Rotator Bearing, 00-05 Neon / 01-10 PT Cruiser

(Discontinued) Mopar OEM Front Rotator Bearing, 00-05 Neon / 01-10 PT Cruiser

OEM Mopar Front strut rotation bearing. This is the unit directly under your front strut mount. Over time the nylon bearing can crack or fatigue leading to some unpleasant noises coming from your front suspension. These are non directional so one will work on either side. Be sure to order two if you need both.

Mopar has discontinued this item, we no longer have any in stock!!!

I tried purchasing "Mopar OEM Front Strut Mounts (PAIR) 00-05 Neon / PT Cruiser" and in the discrition it says, "The price for this is for the FRONT PAIR, OR TWO mounts for the front left and front right strut mounts. If you need just one mount, please call us to order." I just need the pair, and in my shopping cart it says quantity 2, and because I only need the 1 pair, I tried changing it to 1, and it does not allow me to do so
    Thanks

2, means a pair as we buy these from Mopar individually but then we sell them as a pair to customers as most people replace both at the same time.

Do these front strut mounts come with the rotator bearings?

Correct, the rotator bearings are not included and are sold separately.

Do I need to purchase the set of Mopar OEM Front Strut Mounts AND the Mopar OEM Front Spring Rotator Bearing, or just the front strut mounts?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Most people replace the bearings at the same time as the strut mounts, or once both components get about 60,000-90,000 miles. The only reason you should get a strut mount by itself, is if you have some damage to the strut and you know the bearing is good and does not need replacement.

Do these (as well as the rotator bearings and rear strut mounts) work with the stock ACR suspension?

    • Customer Service Rep

The only difference between the Neon SRT-4 and Neon SRT-4 ACR is the ACR has a strut with a lower front spring perch. This makes a difference if you are using SRT-4 ACR springs on OEM SRT-4 struts. But as far as rotator bearings, strut mounts, etc other suspension, its all the same.
