How much does the coating undersize the bearing? Does the crank need to be turned or polished for it to fit?

  Specs from Calico on the bearing coatings we offer from them:
  
  Typical coating thickness for engine bearings is 0.00025" to 0.00030" inch (6 to 7.5 microns).
  
  Because of the ultra thin layer of the coating, there is no change needed to the crank, or rods, etc.
