Over time, the rubber grommets on these valve cover bolts become hard and brittle. When the grommets become hard and brittle, they no longer allow for flexing of the valve cover with thermal expansion. This can lead to the grommet breaking apart in chunks, and or valve cover leaks. We recommend you replace yours, especially before Mopar ends up discontinuing these like so many other parts.

Mopar OEM Valve Cover Bolts for the 2003-2005 Neon SRT & 2001-2010 PT Cruiser (turbo and non turbo). Mopar has discontinued the Valve Cover Studs, leaving these bolts as the only available fasteners.

If you want to replace all of your valve cover bolts, order a quantity of 9. That will give you all new bolts and rubber seals.

Note: This listing is for a single valve cover bolt. Please be sure to enter your desired quantity below.

Do you offer just the grommets or know where to purchase?

The grommets are not removeable, and are fastened to the bolts. Therefore, if you want to replace the grommet, you have to buy the valve cover bolt like shown here.
