Way back around 2002, we introduced this clear third brake light for the second gen Neon. We worked with a manufacturer to make these, and we had to commit to a CRAZY huge quantity to make this item. We stepped up to the plate, made them, and around 2013 or so, we discontinued this item. Fast forward to 2020/2021 and MANY of you guys bugged us to make them again.

We worked with our manufacturer again, placed an order and the third brake lights are NOW IN STOCK! If you ever wanted one of these third brake lights, or think you might want one in the future, please order now, as we wont keep these in stock permanently, this is a limited time stocking item.

This third brake light easily bolts into the trunk with two bolts. We include a red bulb so that when you hit the brakes, this third brake light will illuminate red. Installs in about 10-15 minutes with a 10mm socket.

  Correct, this is a whole third brake light housing with rear reflector, and clear lense. Complete assembly, replaces the factory third brake light completely.

Is the gasket included with the housing, or does that have to be purchased separately?

  There is a gasket already installed on the clear third brake light. We sell them separately if you want a spare or for those people that have an OEM third brake light and want a replacement gasket.
