The MPx Complete Engine Rebuild Kit is ideal for customers with a 2.4L Engine Swap looking for something more durable than stock components, or simply looking to freshen up their engine for many more miles of trouble free driving.

This kit includes a number of Neon SRT-4 components, as they are compatible with the 95-05 naturally aspirated engines often used for the 2.4L swap. The primary difference is that the Neon SRT-4 components are far less expensive than the naturally aspirated 2.4L components.

The power capacity of this rebuild kit is 600+ HP with the Eagle Connecting Rods.

      This kit utilizes forged pistons, and therefore can easily handle much higher horsepower and abuse.

      Essentially yes. But, if you see other top end and bottom end rebuild kits on our website those are different. The other kits are for 2.4 Turbo engines. This kit, is designed for the non turbo 2.4 engine from 1995-2001 that Neon owners frequently swap into their Neons. This kit converts the older 2.4 NA engine into a SRT4 oiling, pickup and oil pan setup because the 2.4 NA oil pumps are very expensive (and some put the oil filter up and near the front wheel which is not good for racing/rallying/dirt racing, etc.

    What is the best compression ratio to use with this kit if I plan to use it with an N/A 2.4L and run it with 93 octane fuel?

      We have several first gen Neons with 2.4 engines and this kit. The 10.5:1 compression pistons work fantastic with 93 octane. If you have race gas, you can use the 12.5:1 compression pistons.
