This strut bar fits the 2013-2016 Dodge Dart with 1.4 turbo engine, as well as the 2015-2016 Chrysler 200 with V6 engine.

There are two ways to improve a cars handling outside of struts, and springs. Either swaybars, which connect the bottom of the struts on one side to the other side for rigidity, or by strut bars that attach the two strut mounts together on the top.

All cars flex with bumps, extreme cornering, and when going up ramps, over speed bumps, etc. Swaybars and Strut bars improve the cars rigidity and improve handling.

So, we set out to design a strut bar for the Dodge Dart and it was a challenge. However, we were able to design a strut bar that uses a oval style center bar that is narrow, but incredibly strong due to its wide design, and internal ribs.

Using a center bar that's hollow but has internal ribbing allows it to be extremely strong, but yet lightweight.

Furthermore, because we used a narrow oval center section, this strut bar fits with the OEM engine covers in place with no rubbing!

There is no drilling required to install these strut bars, and only a simple socket set and allen key set are required to install it.

does this bar only fit the 1.4 just asking cause i saw it in the section for the 2.0 as well

  It will not fit the 2.0 or the 2.4 liter motor. Only fits the 1.4 turbo motor.

When will you guys be getting a 2.4L Strut bar in stock? I see in your strut kit for the hood the video has a 2.4 with a bar on it. Figured this one would fit it but seeing this questions and answers I guess I was wrong.

  As of May 2015, we are working on a prototype bar for the 2.4. It will be released in the second half of 2015.

Is this the same strut tower bar that is shown on the 2.4L Dart that is used in your product video for the new hood strut kit? Even tho this only says it fits the 1.4 in the other ?s and on the product info, it looks very similar to the one on the 2.4L Dart in that product video.

  This strut bar only fits the 1.4 turbo and does not fit the 2.0 or 2.4. As of 5/15/2015 we have a prototype in testing on a 2.4, but its not available yet.

  We have had customers with the 2.4 2015-2017 Chrysler 200 use our Dart 2.0/2.4 strut bar. We suspect the Dart 2.0/2.4 strut bar will also work on the V6 Chrysler 200. The 1.4 bar is too wide to work on the Chrysler 200 4 cylinder and v6 engines though.
