Seibon has released a new hood for the 03-05 Dodge SRT4. This style of hood is called the DV hood and its reminiscent of the old IPP brand of hoods that are long since discontinued.

Please note: This item is shipped from Seibon and normal delivery takes about 3 weeks from order date. The shipping cost is $300 for anywhere in the continental USA. At this time we cannot ship this hood to addresses in California, or outside of the continental USA.

VERY IMPORTANT: When you place an order for a hood and its being delivered, its very critical that you, or whomever is receiving the hood make a note of any damage to the box, and inspect the hood and note any damage on the bill of lading. If you sign for the hood and its later found to be damaged, all freight claims will be denied by the freight company. Protect yourself by thoroughly inspecting the hood before signing the freight companies receipt.

Our website is not very good at calculating freight costs for big items like this, so if you have a hood and trunk, or hood plus other Fedex shippable items, you may get an error rate, or some outrageous amount. We recommend ordering freight items like this by themselves and then place a separate order for Fedex/USPS shipped items. If you have several freight items, like a hood and trunk you want to buy, we recommend ordering the hood by itself, and then contacting us by phone and adding the trunk, as we can get you a much better rate. Typically we can ship a hood and trunk combo for about $550 but our website may charge a lot more.

    Approximately how much does this hood weigh?

      All CF hoods for the Neon SRT4 weigh in between 13-16lbs, making for nearly a 20-25lb savings over the factory steel hood.

    Can I put stock insert in the center grill of this Hood? If not do you all sell one I can?

      No, you cannot use the stock hood insert with this hood. There are no hoods produced now that we know of that use the factory stock hood insert.

      All hood manufacturers will tell you that you need to use hood pins so that they can be removed of liability. However, its very rare that anyone actually uses hood pins because its overkill, and a pain in the rear to install, remove and use.

      Most manufacturers of hoods will tell you to use hood pins because they do not want the liability of a hood latch failing and a hood flying up and hitting the windshield. However with that being said, we think the majority of our customers do not install hood pins, and we have yet to hear of a failure yet. Its your call.

    Is there ducting from the main scoop back to the turbo like the OEM hood?

      We have never seen any of the Seibon hoods have the air ducting like the factory hood that channels air to the turbo. Very few aftermarket hoods have that design built into the underside.
