Model Number: 221239-S-

Back in stock again! Oversize Stainless Steel Valves for the 95-05 Neon 2.0L SOHC.

These stainless valves are far less expensive than the factory valves and are 1mm oversize intake/exhaust side for improved flow into and out of the combustion chamber. Please note that installing 1mm oversize valves will require you to have machine work done to your head to fit the larger valves. Any competent machine shop will be able to do this work for you.

Measurements of OEM valves, 33mm Intake, 28.30mm exhaust
Measurements of these oversized valves, 34mm intake, 29.30mm exhaust.

These valves are sold in complete sets of 16, which are comprised of 8 intake and 8 exhaust valves. If you need less than a complete set, please contact us by email to discuss.

These were out of stock for a few years, but we were able to bring them back!

These valves use a single groove keeper to lock the retainer and spring to the valve. All 95-99 Neons use this style of keeper. 2000-2005 2.0 Liter Sohc Neons use a triple groove keeper design, and so if you have a second gen Neon, you can still use these valves, as long as you use single groove keepers. We sell the single groove keepers on our website, use the search bar and enter keeper to find them.

Ask a Product Question

  • Aj Dolekary
Does this valve set come with new keepers? If not, would the oem ones be alright to use
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

These do not come with keepers. If you have a 95-99 Neon, you can reuse your old ones or buy new ones if you wish. If you have a 00-05 Neon, you will need to buy new single groove keepers.

Yes, before installing new valves you should always lap the valves to make sure they seat correctly in the head.
  • Deivis Aguilar

Yes, we can sell these individually if needed. Call us to discuss.
  • Stephen Perry
Do these valves work in the "rt" (high output) 2gn cylinder head?
    1 Answer
    • Customer Service Rep

Of course. There is no difference in valves between the regular 2.0 sohc and the Magnum high output engine found in the ACR and RT 01-04 Neons.
