Do you want to be able to make fine adjustments to your camshaft timing to shift the power band around? You can advance the timing or retard timing to shift power for more lower end power, or for higher end power. Thats what this cam gear allows you to do, and it makes a real difference !
Years ago, the SOHC Neon had a few choices for cam gears. Fast forward to 2020 and all manufacturers have discontinued their cam gear options for the 2.0 Sohc. Other companies have given up on the 2.0 SOHC Neon but Modern Performance hasn't!
We have used our expertise and machining skills that we developed since we started offering our SRT4 cam gears back around 2014. We used the same billet aluminum, same basic design, but also used our oversized bolts and large screw bosses for extra strength. We machine these completely in the USA and then coat the outer ring and center section in a hard anodize coat to keep them looking good for years!
This cam gear can be used with stock camshafts as well as all aftermarket camshafts. Works great on all street driven 2.0 SOHC Neons as well as circle track/drag SOHC Neons!
Fits all 1995-1999 and 2000-2005 2.0 SOHC Neons.
