TTI Long Tube headers are designed to produce huge gains from 3500rpm to redline. These long tube race headers are computer designed and mandrel bent for maximum flow to increase power for racing.

These header systems are designed, and hand built in California. TTI has been making headers for Mopars since the 1980's.

These headers are available in two finishes.
1) Raw steel finish - budget friendly, but keep in mind they will rust over time. You can paint the headers yourself to prevent rust and make them look better. Or leave the header with a raw finish.
2) Ceramic coated inside and out - this coating provides maximum protection against rust and it does a fantastic job of keeping the heat inside the header. This reduces underhood temperatures and prevents coolant overflow bottles, shifter cables, wiring from melting or being damaged.

  • 1-5/8" OD x 2.5" Collector
  • Constructed of 16 gauge mild steel tubing.
  • One piece header tubes, no slip tubes.
  • Collector equipped with O2 sensor bung, ready to accept sensing equipment.
  • 3/8" thick laser-cut header & collector flanges, contoured for a leak free fit.
  • Direct bolt-on fit, no welding required.
  • Includes Header Gasket, 9" Exhaust System Adapter #NAD38, Donut Gasket, (3) Socket Bolts, Springs & Lock Nuts.
  • Does not include bolts to secure the header to the head.

Note for 2001-2010 PT Cruiser 2.4 non turbo owners -this header was originally designed for the 2.0 1995-2005 Dodge Neon, however the bolt pattern on the header will still work on the NA 2.4 PT Cruiser. Also, the ports on the TTI are larger than the 2.4 NA ports, so it lines up beautifully. See photo below showing a PT Cruiser NA gasket over top of the TTI header flange. Lastly, you will need to extend the o2 sensor wiring as the o2 sensor on this header is on the other side compared to the PT Cruiser location.

The flange may be slightly different, and the O2 sensor maybe need to be relocated, but it will bolt up to a PT Cruiser head.

The header will increase the horsepower and torque but is it possible to get a range on how much those two will increase. I would just like to know what I would be getting if I bought it.

You'll see a gain of 7-8 hp, and with very modified Neons you could see a difference of nearly 20+ hp at high rpms. The factory header is optimized for low end power, and power really falls off at the upper rpms. This header changes that and shifts power up high.

will this fit a 2004 2.4 DOHC swap in a 1st gen neon? Would a mid length header be a better choice for a road racing enduro car given the lower reving, high torque 2.4.

Yes, this header works great on 2.4 swaps into 95-99 Neons. A mid length header is better for street driven cars for more of a mid range powerband. Long tube race headers are best for high rpm power.

Will this work on a N/A stratus 2.4 DOHC 2001?

This header will work on all 1995-2001 2.0 Chrysler four cylinder engines, and it will also work on the 1995-2001 2.4 Chrysler four cylinder engine. When used with a 2.4 swap in a first gen Dodge Neon, this header works fantastic. We are not sure of this headers fitment in the Stratus/Caravan/Breeze/etc but assume it might only need minor modification to fit in those other vehicles.

What is the advantages of ceramic coatings?
      1 Answer
      • Customer Service Rep

The ceramic coated header prevents heat from escaping and heating up the engine bay. It also helps protect items around the header such as coolant overflow bottles, shifter cables, etc from excessive heat. Also, ceramic coatings help keep the header looking good and prevents rusting.
