This is a special, custom made 180 thermostat. For those of you that want the most flow possible through the thermostat, this thermostat is custom machined to fit the Neon and Neon SRT-4 housing.
If you look at the photos, you'll see that the thermostat valve is larger in this high flow thermostat versus our standard 180 thermostat.
The normal 180 thermostats are a nice upgrade over stock, and should work fine for most Neons and Neon SRT-4's but if you live in a very hot climate, or have a very hot motor, then this will help a lot! The high flow 180 thermostat valve will flow a larger volume of water to the radiator, thereby cooling the engine more efficiently.
Drops in like a normal thermostat. Gasket is included.

95-05 2.0 Liter Neons and PT Cruisers - you must trim back the ribbing a little on the inside of the thermostat housing to use this thermostat. See our attached photo.
