Special from Modern Performance, this package deal includes the AGP Solid Engine Mounts (upper & lower), the AGP Solid Transmission Mount, and the MPx High Strength Engine Mount Bolt Set.
AGP Solid Engine Mounts significantly reduce wheel hop, and are strongly recommended for anyone with a modified Neon SRT-4, as they will improve drivability, and help reduce quarter mile times. Tighten up the engine assembly even further with the AGP Solid Transmission Mount for the ultimate stability of your engine and transmission. This transmission mount is a direct replacement of the stock rubber mount, and is constructed with an aluminum frame and polyurethane bushings with steel inserts. Finished in brushed aluminum with the AGP logo etched into the frame.
Note: The transmission mount and bolt set are only compatible with the 03-05 Neon SRT-4, and will not work with non-turbo 00-05 Neons, or any 01-10 PT Cruiser models (including GT).
This kit includes either black oxide motor mount bolts that come with allen keys, or you can get the upgraded motor mount bolts with zinc coating, but keep in mind that the zinc coated bolts do not come with allen keys.
Please note: there are two things you must do to make sure the upper mount works well with your car. Please see our last photo in the photo gallery. 1) Please take the two bolt cast iron bracket off the car. You'll notice one side is completely smooth, and the other side has some raised ridges. Please flip the cast iron bracket 180 degrees so that the motor mount will install with the smooth side. 2) Please DO NOT FORGET to install the TWO large washers that AGP includes. One large washer behind the bolt on top mount, and one large washer on bottom mount behind the bolt. We have way more people than we would like contact us and say their bushing fell out with the bolt still attached, all because they did not install the washer to secure the whole mount in place.
