Very difficult to find a ported throttle body for the fiat 500 abarth anywhere else, but MPX has got it covered. Very fast shipping got mine 2 days. The craftsmanship on the TB is superb, you can't tell what's been done until you put it next to the OEM TB. Easy to calibrate follow along instructions and easy gain for acceleration.

16 Renegade, hardest part was the hose clamp, removed engine cover 2x 10mm bolts, 2 throttle body bolts are 10mm other 2 are torks bit, easy to install, fell more power to the wheels. Engine bay sounds just a little louder at mid to higher rpms. Love the power I can feel

I ordered it for my 500X Pop. Took maybe 30 minutes to install. No relearn needed and no CEL. I couldn't be happier with it. The improvement is subtle but awesome. It just does everything a little better and smoother. It used to stall from a start easily now it's nearly stall proof. All thru the range it's just more drivable.

I was having iasues with my car(throttle was too touchy and it would go to 100% throttle at about 50% pedal travel) so after talking with my tuner and trying new tunes and nothing working decided to buy a throttle body. After looking around and seeing the prices of new OEM ones, decided to give this one a try since it is cheaper than a stock one and is an OEM part that has been slightly modified. I was not expecting a performance increase at all. Got it installed and though my ECU is still in the learning period, when I push the clutch to coast the idle will fluctuate for a few seconds. As expected I do not feel any big performance gain, but I am also running every bolt on mod available without yet going big turbo. All in all I am happy with my purchase and hopefully a few of the littlw bugs will work themselves out as the ECU learns the new TB.

Improved drivability

2017 fiat 500x pop 1.4 multiair / 6spd. Bone stock, the car is really easy to stall. An aftermarket air filter helped somewhat. The bored tb made the car almost stall proof. Can't say much for top end performance since I put only 800 easy miles since new. But the turbo spools faster at lower revs which made the difference in my case. Installation was of moderate difficulty. I had to buy a new intake clamp after destroying the 1 time use clamp. The 500 abarth seems to use a screwable clamp.

less throttle delay

Good product, was a bit more difficult to install than expected. Doesn't sit on top of the intake manifold like the 95 neon, or right out in front like the SRT4, but other than that. Seems to have less throttle delay than the factory throttle body.

throttle body install

I installed the bored throttle body on my 2013 Dodge Dart 1.4 liter turbo. It took me 2 hours, as I didn't know which tools to bring out. And I don't hurry. The main tricks are to remove the battery, remove the hard pipe mount bolts in the front and behind the battery, so you can twist the intake hose out of the way. I needed a 10mm deep socket, 10mm short socket, 7mm socket, #30 torx bit, small pair of channel locks or pliers. that was pretty much it.

I am more than satisfied with the extra performance gained from these two items together. I drive a 2013 Fiat Abarth and whenever you can gain 12-14 hp in a 1.4L engine for this easy install, it is worth it. Kudos to Modern Performance.

First mod. Takes about 45 mins. to install. My Dart required a Torex for the bottom 2 TB bolts. Gives an instant difference in performance. Must have for your Dart. Still looks Stock like out of the show room

Install took about 45 minutes, first mod for my dart and it made all the difference in the world. No more struggling up hills in low boost! Excellent part, very highly recommended for this car!
