Comments: All good.. The actuator arm does not have enough play to get it to easily move on/off the wastegate lever, makes it difficult to set preload. The overall thickness of the arm prevents the cotter pin to go in easily. A little file work fixed that. I saw nearly a 4psi gain using a mopar stage 1 ecu and a K&N typhoon. Zero other modifications or upgrades. |

Comments: I purchased this wastegate and installed it on my mostly stock pt cruiser gt 2005 and loved it, 14 to 15 lbs of boost all day long. Then I purchased a diablosport trinity t2 platinum tuner, installed 93 tune and low and behold it takes the wastegate management off and with this wga it over boosts like crazy, 91 tune I dont have that problem but then the wga is pcm controlled , I'm told to get a custom tune to use this wga with a better tune, just fyi for other customers maybe, thanks. |

Comments: Inaccurate Description Spring is 12psi not 8psi. This will double your boost and you will need Diablo Sport tuner etc to control this Wastegate. |

Comments: The unit got to my door fast. Very well built, almost identical to the stock unit. Taking off the heat shield was a pain. Unfortunately the actuator arm on the AGP unit is just slightly thicker than the stock unit and I had to grind the AGP arm down just a bit so that the stock hairpin clip would fit into the hole. I fitted it with just a tiny bit of pre-load and I took the car for a test drive. I connected the WG directly to boost and it boosts a consistent 8psi. Slightly more part throttle boost than stock but perfectly manageable. Once the WGDC tables are tuned this waste gate should easily be able to get to my goal of 15psi at redline. Great unit, does what I want it to do. 4 stars because it works great, but you have to modify it slightly to get it to fit right. |
