Comments: Great product!! So, the reverse lockout cable breaks on my 2013 Dart. Start looking around and discover that this isn't manufactured any more for this model year right? Awesome. Just another thing I have to manufacture due to engineering design flaws. Took one last look around the web and saw the MP website advertising the replacement kit WITH a properly designed shift knob. Dropped an order on it and got it in a week. Coulda paid for faster shipping but I'm frugal. My wife calls it something else but that's a different story... anyway, got the thing installed in little over 30 minutes and LOVE the new smaller shift knob with a small reveal to remove the top to get at the retaining nut without having to BREAK stuff. Cmon Dodge, figure this stuff out. It's not hard. Only issue I had was keeping the cable lug in the upper receiver notch as it doesn't snap in. Just a small spot of double sided tape solved that. Might want to add that to the install doc? Also gave the cable sleeve a good dose of WD 40 just for good measure to prevent abrasion. Highly advise a periodic re-dose of WD on the sleeve as abrasion is what appears to be the root cause of failure here. Thanks to MP for making things better at an affordable price! That's how it's done!!! |

Comments: bought this as i was about to leave my house and my shifter so lovingly decided it didn't want to use reverse anymore. knowing that i had to purchase a new knob too i went with the all aluminum upgrade. having been use to the size of the plastic one i was honestly a little unsure about it but after a week it feels wonderful. i adore how it's solid and have more weight. gives very positive feedback when shifting. the cable repair isn't hard once you get to said cable. know that center console and some of the center dash does have to be taken out and loosened but after that it's as simple as removing the broken cable and routing the new in it's place. i honestly have no complaints about this kit/upgrade. thanks for the prompt shipping to get me back on the road |

Comments: The quality of the kit is great, same as the fitment. I like how you can adjust the shift gear label to your liking.The only thing I did not like was the hard to read badly Xeroxed instruction sheet that came with the kit and with me being so far away in Canada, I expected more packaging around the shift knob to protect it in shipment. |

Comments: Thank god this cable was made available to me as in canada the dealer only offer the entire shift kit. The new knob is way better then the oem giving the stick a better feel with the polished aluminum and fitting in your hand with the perfect size |
