Comments: So, note that the neon srt 4 will require 12 bolts to mount the hub to the spacer and then the spacer to the wheel so this is 12 same thread pitch bolts, but the package only came with 6 bolts. Then the real kicker is that the stock steering wheel is torqued on tight ok. Listen up, I torqued the sparco hub down and right at 20ft lbs there's a tapered flanged that sticks out of the back of the base on the hub and it broke. This flange provides just enough room for the sparco hub to not rub on the steering column base and cause the wheel to stick instead of coming back to center under normal operation. I'm waiting on modern to see if sparco can send another hub/hub adapter but I think you guys should be aware of these flaws in the package before purchasing. I've spend a few thousand dollars with MP and this is the first time anything hasn't been absolutely excellent. |
